The Chelmsford Health Department is offering a free Opioid Response Training to help community members recognize and respond to opioid overdoses with confidence. During this 30-minute session, participants will learn what opioids are, how to properly administer Narcan (naloxone), and important facts about fentanyl and xylazine. This training is open to teens, parents, and community members of all experience levels, and each attendee will receive a free opioid rescue kit. The program is designed to be informative, practical, and empowering, giving residents the knowledge and tools needed to support themselves, their families, and the broader community.
